"The 130th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show"

The welcome paws for any viewer overdosing on Olympics: A different kind of competition, it's ''The 130th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show,'' a canine cavalcade featuring more than 2,600 dogs representing 165 breeds and varieties.

8 p.m. on The WB

"Gilmore Girls"

The whole Luke-has-a-daughter story line on "Gilmore Girls" has us feeling a bit uneasy about the show these days. Maybe we'll get a break from it with tonight's episode, which has Rory and Logan inviting Lorelai and Luke to spend a weekend with them at Logan's family house on Martha's Vineyard. Something tells us it's not going to go all that smoothly.

| New on DVD |

• ''Saw II'' -- The fright franchise that has nothing to offer but blood, sweat, toil and blood returns with another round of sick games staged by a serial killer out to prove that pretty much all humans deserve a gruesome death, $28.98. (Lionsgate)

• ''Grey's Anatomy: Season One'' -- Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh and Patrick Dempsey star in the hip hospital drama about hotshot surgical interns. A two-disc set packs year one's nine episodes, along with commentary and deleted scenes, $29.99. (Disney)
